M. Beik

Generative AI and Fuzzy Variables 

Dr. Beik Zaseh is a visionary researcher and R&D team leader with over 30 years of experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications. His career spans academia, R&D centers, and industry, where he has leveraged his deep expertise in fuzzy logic, temporal logics, semantic technologies, machine learning, data analytics, and data visualization to educate, innovate, and solve complex real-world problems across various sectors.

Dr. Zadeh has delivered more than 100 technical talks on AI and data science techniques, tailored to managers across diverse industries such as healthcare, telecommunications, education, finance, and business. From 1992 to 2015, he served as a senior lecturer on AI-related topics at six universities in Iran and Malaysia, where he supervised over 20 master’s and Ph.D. students and authored more than 20 research papers. He has also been invited as a keynote speaker at more than 50 international conferences.

From 1993 to 2012, Dr. Zadeh held leadership roles as the director of two major R&D centers in Iran & Malaysia. He was responsible for designing and implementing a strategic five-year national telecom research plan, coordinating the efforts of more than 10 universities and managing a team of 300 researchers in research centres. In Malaysia, his leadership resulted in the creation of a cutting-edge semantic technology platform and several vertical applications, including precision agriculture and smart medical education. Dr. Zadeh has filed 20 patents related to the semantic technology platform, with 9 filed internationally.

More recently, Dr. Zadeh served as a Senior Data Scientist at Averis International in Malaysia, where he applied AI techniques such as fuzzy logic and computer vision to optimize operations in the pulp and paper industry and improve processes like palm fruit ripeness grading. He also spearheaded a Data Science training program for Axiata, a leading telecom holding company operating in 10 countries across East Asia, training over 300 professionals with more than 200 hours of practical AI applications. In addition, he consulted for Abyres on Malaysian National Big Data Projects, focusing on predicting crime rates, pricing trends, HFMD (Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease) outbreaks, and conducting sentiment analysis using social media data.

Currently, Dr. Beik Zadeh is based in the UK, where he works as an AI and Generative AI consultant and trainer. He is also pioneering research into the foundational concepts of executable knowledge representation to advance the development of an Artificial Mind.

With a focus on enhancing performance in a wide range of sectors, Chester Warzynski is a leadership and management consultant who offers organizational consulting in strategic planning, organizational design, executive assessment, leadership development, project management, and innovation. His expertise has been applied in universities, hospitals, Fortune 500 companies, and SMEs, demonstrating his adaptability and broad expertise.
 
Warzynski's 25 years of experience have been marked by his effective drive for innovation and change across diverse environments. His consulting work, which includes collaborations with renowned organizations and institutions such as Exxon, Dow Jones, Cornell University, Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon University, and the City and State Universities of New York, has left a lasting impact on these organizations.
 
Previously, he held positions including Senior Adviser at Carnegie Mellon University, Executive Director of Organizational Development at Georgia Tech, Adjunct Professor at the School of Public Policy, Director of Organizational Development, and Lecturer in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. He also served as Director of Corporate Planning and New Venture Development for a Dow Jones subsidiary and Director of Education and Training for St. Joseph’s and Mercy Hospitals.
Warzynski's academic credentials are equally notable. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in sociology from Southern Illinois University and the University of Western Ontario, followed by postgraduate and doctoral studies at the University of Toronto and the University of Twente.
 
He has served on the boards of the National Consortium for Continuous Improvement in Higher Education (NCCI), the Red Cross, and the 7th Arts Council. His publications span topics related to leadership, strategic planning, organizational development, re-engineering, project management, and sustainability, with current research focusing on organizational innovation.
Prof. Ts. Dr. Rahinah Ibrahim

ESG / SDG Catalytic Social Innovation

 

Rahinah Ibrahim, Ph.D. (Stanford), is an accomplished design scientist, construction industry expert, and a global entrepreneur. She is a transdisciplinary researcher who has the ability and intellect in combining Arts & Humanities with Science and Technology to create impactful social innovations.

 

She is currently Senior Professor of Architecture and former Dean at the Faculty of Design and Architecture, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). A trained architect, Ibrahim received her Doctoral degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Stanford University. She has 7 years’ experience in property development and architectural practice before joining UPM to lead the establishment of its architecture program.

 

She developed the Built Environment Informatics research in tandem with her involvement as Trustee of Action Caring Team (ACT) Malaysia. 21 PhD and 12 Master students have graduated under her supervision. Her forte is teasing out tacit cultural and practice knowledge and then, create novel industrial applications. ISTP wastewater treatment technology was used in a UN Environment Programme (UNEP) pilot project. The project was recognized as one of the United Nations’ SDG Good Practice Project. The achievement motivates her in directing ESG fundings for supporting SDG activism at all levels.

 

The Academy of Sciences Malaysia conferred Ibrahim the “Top Research Scientists of Malaysia 2012 & 2018” awards and she became a Fellow in 2021. For her innovative endeavours, the Ministry of Education Malaysia awarded her the “National Academic Award (AAN2013)” in Arts and Creativity Category.

A. Moradi

A pioneer in Knowledge Engineering and Expert Systems, Moradi's AI journey began in 1986. With a dissertation on MMIS Intelligent Marketing Management Information, he completed his PhD studies in Expert Systems in 1989, following his graduation from Florida Atlantic University in March 1980.

Moradi spearheaded the development of one of the earliest AI software applications in healthcare Practice Management Systems, called Office 4te. He applied algorithms to a wide range of services, from image compression utilizing discrete cosine transformation and wavelet to applied AI in building sub-prime financial modalities, serving a $100M a month mortgage banking wholesaler.

He also applied AI rule based systems to build intelligent integrated tele-health and patient monitoring routing system made to serve patients, physicians, and pharmacists with many patent pending claims. Working with various governments, industries (BFIS), satellite, terrestrial, cellular networks including LAN / WAN topologies, telecom least cost routing, intelligent cost per time advertising & serving Federations of TV networks, with multi stream and multi codecs, he introduced AI Streaming (iV8) with a global patent over CDN.

Focusing on video-first strategies, he has introduced real-time broadcast, collaboration, & communications platforms as a iOTT service. He embraces BI, Predictive Analytics, RPA, CV, Human Avatar Real-Time Streaming, and the creation of iCDN.Video and iCDN.AI. He continues his research on cognitive reasoning, quantum inference engines, and responsive video streams.
